From my previous work with Miles Tea & Coffee, I was approached with the exciting opportunity to design the packaging for the Salvation Army’s new line of tea. They wanted a design that would draw on the heritage and communicate their caring values.

I was supplied with a old photograph of soldiers drinking tea from a Salvation Army Tea truck and this was to be incorporated into the design. It was important that the packaging stood out on the shelf, to aid this I placed the vintage photograph on a black background then used the charity’s own branding colors of red and white to create a high impact design.

Once the design was approved, I applied the graphics onto the packaging template supplied by the printing firm and created artwork ready files.
